Dear Friends, Watchers, Deviants, and Public in general; I would like to take a moment to thank you all for supporting my work here on DA, also thank you for adding me as a friend on MySpace. I admire and respect about everyone here on this site. I started simple and eventually participated in some contests and won a subscription; I have not been away since.

My girlfriend and I have had a hard time coming up with an original name and middle name for our baby. I figure I could let you guys come up with ideas and then the mother and I will selecting the ones we like, then we can cross-match and select those we both agree on. After we select those, we agree upon, you people will vote to pick the one you like best. Therefore, in a way the baby's name will be your creation and your decision at the same time.

The baby is due around October 2008, that gives you about 60 days to think of some cool names for our baby. Of course we have thought of gazillions (well, maybe hundreds) of names, but we do not seem to agree on one we both like. We have agreed on some basic guidelines though. It has to be original (if I search for the name on Google for example I cannot find more than zero results). I CANT rhyme, mean or resemble any vulgar or offensive words (you wouldn't want your kid to be made fun of at school because you named him 'socktucker' ). You can suggest any name, for either gender; though we will be the judge of the name’s gender, (some names are boy names that seem feminine and vice-versa). Please check other entries before suggestion something, because I will only consider the earliest entry of any single name, I will not consider copied or repeated names, NO exceptions. Consider explaining the spelling and pronunciation of the names you suggest, this will help us appreciate them better.

We will only consider those names posted as a comment to this Journal Entry, not as a note and not as a comment on the page. We will consider entries submitted by 06/15/2008 11:59PM PST. After that, we will start selecting our favorites.

We will select only one name, middle or a combination of both for the baby. The Prizes are as follows; if we chose your suggestion name or middle name, you will receive an autographed painting from my gallery (YOUR CHOICE) or a 1-year Subscription to DevianART. If we select both your suggestion for a name and a middle name, then you will get both the 1-year subscription and YOUR CHOICE of one autographed painting.
