OH BOY!!!!! This is going to be so good!!!!!! U r truly precious!!!! LOL I feel like a kid in a toy store. I don’t know where to start!! I think I.ll just quote and respond.

The image was downloaded a while ago from an al jazeera site I think, then I just added my “touch” to it. It was my first manipulation and yes it does have A LOT of thecnical “flaws“ (the low pixelish quality of the image is not one of them, I like that look, it says media). Who Im to ask permission to use the image? Al Jazeera chairman? It seems prety hypocritical of u 2 ask 4 that since the army u used to work for didn’t asked anyone to invade a foreign country. And perhaps theres the old and well documented apropiation premise from wich an art propousal can be launch. Any “artist” with a minor knowledge in art history knows that. Same goes for ‘army of none’ and “roposal for army shirt”. As far as it goes for psycho god and psycho jesus” and “birth of a new generation”. Who should I sak for permission to use the image? The Pope?!?! The painting (actually a fresco) is on the sixteen chapel and Michel Angelo is not around anymore, the guy IS DEAD (just in case u havnt read the news”lately” so the next on the line as owner for the painting rights is the Vatican I guess. May I give a call to good old Pope and ask him if I can use the image?!?! Should done it in the past days since Mr Pope was in N.Y. Tha call is way cheaper than the one to Italy and since I have roaming can call from my cellphone. DUHH!!!!!!

Actualy the work I named “army of none” is part of a work in proses meant to end in a direct art action on military recluting offices. The idea is to substitute by superimposition the graphical propaganda of the military with new ones such as the one in the deviation. So all I got to say is…SUE ME!!! ☺ Make me a martir!!!! LOL

(not that I ceare) So just because some stuff is not “your cup of tea” (I prefer coffee) u are entitled to black list it. Hmmm very interesting. Theres A LOT of stuff I don’t like here on DevArt.From simply crap to the right down offensive or discusting.(from MY point of view) I sometimes comment and even speack up my mind but I would never black list their work. That’s totally a fascist move and if u remember ( I think u do since it looks like that’s what bothers u the most) Im in essence, an anarchist. One good example is YOUR WORK. I do like ur work. I from time to time enjoy good technique applied to images but basicly that’s it. Prety pics of naked women. As far as content, concept and creativity , they r “not my cup of tea” as u say, and it is not because I don’t like those. Is because those r simply not there and if they r, theyre pretty weak. Content, concept and creativity.(most of the pics r remakes of other pics, just for the sake of an aplyed technique) Plus the repetition of the theme of naked “hot girls” gives to the pieces a teenage approach aura to the final work.

You saw that? You know what it was? Well, Im going to tell you what it was my little grasshopper. IT WAS A CRITIC!!! Putting someone works in a black list IS NOT a critic. That’s more like an act of supreme analretentive @$$holeness close to rigthdown Fascism.
Not to mention that ur work is an easy target for any moralist or eligious fundie or hardcore feminists, much more than most of my work. Plus I think is fair to call to attention the content of ur black list. Most of it consist of ass and cock black n white photos and I think I remember some gay stuff also. That, combined with the content of most of ur stuff, makes one wonder, what r u trying to prove? If anything at all. At least it points towards some unresolved issues perhaps. And going back to the images rights issue. I don’t see any of YOUR images on any of my work so I guess u r just a nosy fool with a bit of an informer or as we call it in Puerto Rico, un presentao y un poco CHOTA. No one likes informers man.

Ok I think that’s a wrap as far as the art issue is concern. Now, about the issue of me posting in English instead of Spanish wich is my native language. EXUSE ME FOR BEING BILINGUAL!!! And last time I checked the English language is native from ENGLAND and NOT u.s.a. That’s first. Second is the fact that most of ur own posts are indeed, in English. So I only chose what I thout was the best language to communicate with u and others since I speack both, and ultimately, what I want is to communicate. Third. If you are to figth some one, as a collective, one of the first things u do is LEARN THE LANGUAGE THEY USE. You should know that, you are a vet, don’t u? And to close on that. The whole “argument” is actually very common among people with no argument on the issue(second on the rank is the use of dollars and federal aids, so don’t even try it)
Now lets get on that “trendy” thing u think my political ideas are.
For an idea of what I do and where I stand as an activist u just have to check my journals. Ive been the last 8 years involved on direct action activism from wich im talking a bit of a brake now and doing more of the schools talks with kids and ocasionaly on college thing. I was directly involved during the struggle to get u.s. navy out of viequez island among other things here and there. Ive being an anarchist since I was 15, it just came to me sort of. That makes it 21 years now.Perhaps u can read my last journal so u can see it is a bit more of a “trend” , little grasshopper. To bad u went to war for a bunch of lies and came back messedup so Dick Cheiney and company can make even more money. Im more than clear on my politics. U on the other hand…. Ur greenpeace stamp is pretty funny I guess since u also have that army stamp. Do u knew war is one if not THE most polluting and envyromeantaly hazardous activiti of them all? I guess not. I guess having a greenpeace stamp is just a cool thing, “trendy” I may say. As a fact, my gf is from the mexico chapter of greenpeace and we r looking forward to start a local chapter in Puerto Rico. Does that fit ur definition of “doing something for ur people”?
